Yuki is a 4-year-old Romanian rescue who came to the UK and was adopted at 6 months old. He is a bright, independent dog who enjoys routine, training and a calm life, and he would thrive best in a peaceful home with understanding people who can give him the space he needs.

Yuki is the sort of dog who knows what he likes. He is often described as a bit of a grumpy old man in a younger body, independent, clever, full of personality, and happiest when life feels calm, predictable and low pressure.
His family love him deeply, and making the decision to find a new home for him has not been easy. They have worked hard to help him feel secure, including over a year with a dog trainer, and have learnt that what Yuki needs most is peace, space and the right environment to truly relax.

Independent, Sensitive & Full Of Character
Yuki can be wary when meeting new people and needs time to settle. He also barks if allowed to sit at windows or patrol the garden listening for sounds beyond the fence, which is why his crate has been such a useful management tool when he is left alone.
He does not enjoy being pressured or told off, and there have been a few occasions where he has snapped when asked to do something he did not want to do. His family have worked through a lot with him, but with a young child in the home they feel the kindest and safest choice is to find him a more suitable environment.
